Nielsen and Convers win three heats and sign record timings repeatedly. Difficult pre-final for Nielsen, forced to stop because of a banal electrical damage. In the final Convers fights for the victory and finally has to give up due to the impetuosity of a rival. This sort or test session on track gives clear results. Our technical material runs well and the  Kosmic Kart Racing Department is willing to set it up at best and go on in the season with top performances.

Our Kosmic Kart Racing Department’s season has begun excellently; actually on the occasion of the first round of the season, the WSK Master, Armand Convers signed the pole position and got on the podium gaining the second step.

The spectacular demanding competition held at the Italian La Conca circuit saw us at the track with Nielsen and Convers always fighting for the success.

They both signed several best laps in the qualifying, particularly Convers who managed to get the pole with the best KF timing of 45.960.

At the end of the heats, also thanks to a partial success, Convers obtained the first row. Nielsen, even though he gained two victories in the heats, had to start from the third row in the final.

Both the pre-final and the final offered exciting moments, many of them of our two drivers who drove constantly in the leading positions.
Nielsen performed very well in the pre-final, leading the group until a few metres from the finishing line when an electrical part broke leaving all the team incredulous.

Convers ended the pre-final with a good recovery, after a difficult start, our French driver managed to achieve the first positions, showed off his perfect material and also signed the best lap with 46.414.

In the final he fought for long time against Basz and Boccolacci. The final step of the competition revealed a bitter end for our colours. Basz (Tony Kart-Vortex) while leading the race, just one lap before the end, stopped giving the go-ahead at the fight between our driver and Boccolacci.
Convers performed a perfect race and at the last bend of the last lap had the chance to succeed but his rival  toughly ran too close to him, and he lost the victory for just 28 thousandths!

Despite the delusion for this harsh second place has not spoiled the positive impression our material showed off during the whole competition.

WSK competition has actually introduced the new Vortex RVF engines which are giving prove already to be suitable for an intense and useful development process.
