The seasonal debut at the 19th Winter Cup at Lonato was positive to our drivers. Nielsen performed excellently confirming the leading role given by many operators.
Also positive was the performance the new driver Julien Darras, who incurred in a few accidents during the heats but showed off all his skills to stand out at the drive of the ever-competitive Kosmic Kart-Vortex chassis.

Nielsen was leader in the heats, he won one and gained the second row at the prefinal starting grid.
Our driver did not miss the success in the prefinal ahead of the “twin” chassis of Basz, driving a Tony Kart-Vortex.
In the final the fight was strong and Nielsen unfortunately lost the chance to keep well close to the top positions; actually he lost some in the final steps.
Nielsen’s eighth position is not a lot, compared to his performance, but we do not worry about it since the Winter Cup was necessary to deepen the knowledge of the new technical material for beginning its future development.
During this weekend (2nd of March) Kosmic Kart Racing Department’s drivers will be engaged at the La Conca track at Muro Leccese (Italy), for the first round, out of two, of the WSK Champions Cup.
On the occasion of this event the Swedish driver Jessica Backman will join our Racing Department next to Darras and Nielsen in KF category.
In KFJ class Klemente Novalac will wear the Kosmic Kart-Vortex official colours, in one of the most lively and crowded karting categories at international level.
